2011 Summer Programs for Kids

The Heat is ON!
Summer time is here and the kids are on school break.
Now is the good time to give our children the outside-of-the classroom learning experiences. =)

I am compiling a list of summer programs I came across as I am also scouting for W's summer activity.
Sharing the list here for you guys and gals who might be interested. =)
Some of the following centers are also offering programs for adults - even senior citizens! =)

Bert Lozada Swim School [LINK]
Offers swimming programs for babies to adults. Schedule depends on the BLSS location nearest you. Some classes have already started last March 28.

Aqualogic Swim Co. [LINK]
Swimming classes for babies 6 months old and up.

Futbol Funatics [LINK] [LINK]

Summer Sabre Fencing Camp [LINK]
Fencing lessons for kids 9 years old and up. Adults are also welcome.

The Younghusband Footbal Academy [LINK]
Kids now know a little more about football thanks to the Philippine Azkals.

Olympians Taekwondo Training Center [LINK]
They also offer muay thai, arnis and mix martial arts.

Galileo Enrichment Learning Program [LINK]
Their summer program's main thrust is about learning Math through art expression.

Halili Cruz School of Ballet [LINK]

UP College of Music Summer Extension Program [LINK]

Kids Ahoy [LINK]
Offers a variety of activities (music, arts, creative writing, entrepreneurship, etc.) for toddlers and older kids.

Museo Pambata [LINK]
Art's Cool Workshops - Arts, Music, Creative Writing - for kids 4-12 years old and Storytelling (for adults).

House of Dance [LINK]
Offers ballet, hiphop, and jazz lessons for kids 3 years old and up. They also hold free senior citizens' Social Dance classes.

Tic-Tac-Tumble [LINK]
Gymnastics classes for kids, teens and adults. Summer classes start on April 5.

Steps Dance Studio [LINK]
They offer ballet, jazz, and streetdance for kids and adults.

Powerbooks Power Book Camp [LINK]
Kids will learn the ins-and-outs of working in a bookstore. Open to tweens 10-16 years old.

Let the kids learn a new language this summer. =)

Adarna House - Klasrum Adarna Workshops [LINK]
Kids can choose to enrol in Book-making, Short story-writing and book illustrating lessons.

McDonald's Kiddie Crew Workshop [LINK]

San Miguel Purefoods Culinary Center - Kids' Kitchen Camp [LINK]
Open to kids aged 7-12 years old. Schedule: (1st batch) April 6-8; (2nd batch) April 13-15;

CCA-Manila's Young Chefs Boot Camp [LINK]
Cooking and baking for kids aged 7 years old and up.

The kids, tweens and teens can learn cooking and baking in the Basics and Advanced lessons.

Hello again J.Ann! I read about Enderun (Extension) offering Lego Robotics classes for kids this summer. I haven't seen the details of the program yet but it sure sounds unique and promising. Might be something you and your kids will be interested in. I'll post information here once I have it. Thanks! =)

yes, i will share it to you once i find it. : )
what i want is something like a mini-tournament for the kids like: subjects contest, arts and science experiment, something really new for summer. wherein they could enhance their skills and have a meaningful one.

i got to like those summer activities but i'm still looking for something new for my kids this summer. hope i could stumble upon on that site for my kids
