Kogi Bulgogi, Eastwood Mall

We love celebrations! Our family takes anniversaries and birthdays as excuses to eat, eat and eat! And so a few weekends ago, we headed to Kogi Bulgogi at Eastwood Mall to celebrated Mom and Dad’s Nth Wedding Anniversary.

We (M, W and I) came in too late as we came from the dentist for M and W’s check up. They were almost done with their food that I felt I had to rush eating mine or my dad will ask me to pay for everything because we kept them waiting haha.

I was not able to take pictures of what they ate as well as ours. I ordered Chicken Bibimbap and Shrimp Tempura and shared it with W. M ordered Beef Bibimbap. We ate some of their leftovers - like the Sundubu Jjigae - a hot and spicy Korean stew. I loved the fact that they were able to adjust the level of spiciness in that soup since Kogi Bulgogi's letting the customers choose according to their preference.

I must say I enjoyed the Sundubu Jjigae as I love spicy food. The rich taste of the soup plus the clams and mushrooms is something one would want to eat during a cold, cold night. I was lucky to take home some more. =)

Generally, the food was good and the servers were polite and attentive. The place was not packed when we arrived and so we actually enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to rush just so they can accommodate waiting customers.

Kogi Bulgogi is a good place to go when you want to enjoy Korean food with your family especially the young ones. Definitely a must-try! =)

Xoxo,
