My 2011 Birthday Wishlist - Reloaded

Image
I've made my initial birthday wishlist a few weeks back and told y'all I'll update it before the BIG day. haha! Each year especially before Christmas, I make my list just so I have a goal-wants list of sorts in black-and-white. Usually, items listed on my list are mainly material things - goodies I want but would never splurge on with my own money (well with a few exceptions of course). Since W learned how to write, I also taught him to make his lists. You'd be amazed how each year, most of the items listed down on our lists get crossed out. We receive/get our requests even in unplanned situations (like the DKNY Be Delicious perfume from my dad haha!) Here's my list this year 28's (in no particular order): A laptop battery for my recovered Neo OR a Toshiba A665 3D.   7/26/12 I gave my old Neo laptop to my nephew, but bought a new battery and charger for it so it is good as brand new. I also bought a Toshiba P745, way cheaper than the A665 3D - I don...

Things I Love #4

I promised myself I’d cut back on my daily coffee intake (and no, not just because it is Lent).  Before, I can finish four grande frappuccino’s from Starbucks – especially when I’m working and trying to beat deadlines. Until I realized I had to stop – for my health and pocket’s sake. Now that I am almost always at home, I keep myself from preparing myself a cup of coffee by just having some hot chocolate or Twining’s tea. The warmth it gives may be different from the high I get from caffeine, but it will surely give me a good night’s sleep especially that I am suffering from insomnia. In my recent trip to the grocery, I found Lipton Milk Tea and decided to get a box to try. I’ve been hearing a lot about bubble milk teas, milk teas from Japan, Serenitea, etc. and though I am pretty sure this Lipton Milk Tea may be different from them, it may hopefully take me closest to the taste of those fad milk teas. Xoxo,

It is scorching hot outside! Then I realized I haven't posted anything on my Things I Love series yet - so here goes: #1 My trusty Ray-Ban Aviators - lightweight and just the right tint for me.Worth every penny! =) #2 Starbucks frappes  - what I usually get is the basic Caramel Frappe (coffee-based) with the whipped cream blended in. =) The heat is on! Summer is on its way! Xoxo,

THINGS I LOVE (a series)

*There are a lot of free and simple things that adults take for granted most of the time. *There are material things (some may be expensive, some cheap) that inspire us to do better, to do more - for us to be able to acquire them. *There are moments that pass our lives that makes the difference in the way we live our life. ----    ----    ---- This is the introduction to a series I am planning to make - a series to make me (and you) realize that there are over a million and one things that can make our lives better, happier, lovelier, worth living for and be thankful for - only if we open our eyes and hearts. Things (whether material or not) and moments that make us human are the THINGS I LOVE . =) Xoxo,
