Philippine Science High School (PSHS or Pisay to some) is now accepting admission applicants for the school year 2013-2014.
As the country's premiere secondary education institution, PSHS students have an advantage in having mathematics and science-enriched education, as well as the privilege of studying for free (read: free tuition and free loan of textbooks) and receiving monthly allowance.
Deadline for filing the application requirements is on July 13, 2012.
The examination date is on September 29, 2012.

If your kid pass, the school normally is notified unofficially on Dec. 8th, so if you have not heard anything from your kid's school, wag na po kayo umasa

Wala pa po yatang na notified til now... Last year po maaga sila naglabas ng lists, maybe madami nkapasa now kya wala pa po results hanggang ngaun...
I called PSHS last week and the Registrar person told me that they will release the result Dec 21.

I think so, but worried lang 'coz someone mentioned that if u didn't get any notice from ur school last Dec 8 that u passed the NCE, wag n raw umasa... is that true b?
the results are published in Philippine Star. My son passed the exams last year, the results came out mid November 2011 and was published in Phil star.

Fyi. PSHS now has a 6yr curriculum. The first year is Grade 7, and is positioned to the Grade 7 level of DepEd, in other words, 1st year of a 6yr curriculum. So if your old school is still on the 4year High School curriculum, it will mean a "backward" move. Pshs did not add 2 years to what they previously had, but adjusted downward, sort of like what private schools had in their Grade 7. If your school recalibrated by adjusting one year upwards, then your child loses 2 years (and likely will repeat some lessons).

Called Admission office kanina 12/21 11:15 am. Ready na daw for upload website yung results. Mag publish din daw sa newspaper and mag-send din ng letter. Wait daw from tonight
