Superboink's Bid to the 2011 EIB

Image
Hi everyone! I recently submitted my shortlist of nominees in the 2011 Emerging Influential Blogs . Part of that list is this blog, ' The (Mis)Adventures of Superboink ' This blog was born February 17, 2011  and the posts appearing on my archives earlier that the said date are from my old and inactive blogs - me uncensored  and madlyfairandsquare  - both running under Blogger before. I imported them for repository purposes . If you will check, most if not all entries are my medical condition-related  posts and are merely reminders of the medical milestones I shared in my previous blogs. The (Mis)Adventures of Superboink is not a continuation of the above-mentioned previous  blogs.  It started on a clean slate, has a different tone and now mostly focuses on motherhood and food.

Removing the Blog Commenting System and Losing Comments

I feel bad that after being able to settle with a blog theme, I can't seem to make Disqus to work in it. I tried installing Intense Debate also but it won't show. Editing codes didn't help, and I don't know much about them anyway. Will have to remove Disqus for now and back to standard Blogger comments. I will lose some comments made through Disqus (despite syncing them with Blogger) and some comments will look odd as they show just 'Maan' as the author. Haha, I'll look like someone desperate to make comments on my own blog. Hay. Sad, sad, sad. =( Xoxo, Maan

There are times when I savor every moment that I am in the kitchen. I cook and bake almost everyday when I am in the mood. But there are also times when I have other chores to do, work or simply just not feeling well - that I have to think of the easiest but the tastiest meals I could do. I am no chef and have no formal culinary education. My love for cooking started when I was still a kid, watching and helping my lola prepare our meals. I learned cooking the Pinoy staples like sinigang and adobo without a recipe in hand - but by using my discerning tastebuds. I am happy that despite having a picky-eater husband and son, I still satisfy their appetite and that I am able to feed them with enough nutrients that we actually need. Hopefully, I'll be conscientious enough now to share and post m...
