I have to admit that I can't even remember when this Joey Pepperoni food tripping happened. Definitely months. Haha. (Late post much?) 

I had my first taste of Joey Pep way back when it opened its branch in the Fairways Tower in BGC. I was designing a condo unit there and it has been my hang-out (other than the Starbucks beside it) for a period of 3 months.

However, these pictures were taken from its branch in SM Calamba (in Laguna). Tired from travel, we've decided to have lunch there.

W was kept busy while waiting for our orders
Since it's already our Nth time there, we've decided to do away with the pizza and try their rice meals. We've also ordered pasta dishes which was on promo - Awesome Two-some. 

W was very happy he'll get to try 2 pasta flavors because he initially had a hard time choosing what he wanted to eat. For only Php199 he got two pasta dishes!

M got the Rosemary Chicken and loved it. He's a fan of spice-rubbed meats so I wasn't surprised. The chicken was carefully cooked, leaving the meat juicy.

I had the pork dish and felt full halfway through the meal. I got a big chunk of pork chop which is slathered with a sweet-spicy sauce which I loved. The only downside was I was perspiring much while eating since I am very sensitive to spicy food which ironically --- are my favorites.

We usually have JP at the SM MOA or SM Bicutan. It's just a shame that they have to close the one in SM Bicutan. It's the one nearest to us.

THE BATTLE OF THE CORNED TUNAS

This IS one very very late post. I completely forgot I have a file saved somewhere. Shucks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been meaning to make this post since the very first time I saw Derek Ramsey's Century Corned tuna TV commercial. I thought San Marino must be doing well in terms of market sales considering that they were first to introduce the 'corned tuna' concept in the Philippine market - and that Century had to keep up with it. San Marino Corned Tuna TVC Century Tuna TVC So finally last Sunday morning about two weeks ago, I opened two cans of corned tuna - one San Marino and one Century - and put them to a taste test. There's 7 of us having breakfast then. Without telling them which is which, I asked them which tastes better.
