The Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) is now accepting applications for incoming secondary school students who are gifted in the arts.
Located at the National Arts Center in Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna, the PHSA develops artistically gifted children into future leaders and movers in the Philippine Art scene, caring for the "conservation and promotion of the Filipino artistic traditions."
Quoting the National Commission for the Culture and Arts, here are further details on the scholarship application:
The successful applicant is awarded free tuition fee, board and lodging, classes with master teachers, a monthly stipend, plus the chance to represent the country and the school in international festivals, competitions and exchange programs.
